Nice!!! Especially like the dark 'bloom' effects.....and seems that it would be quite useful for gaming environments

looks interesting. does it allow for masking the area to be bloomed or will that have to be done separately?

I like a nice bloom gonna try this out on some Second Life imagery to see what it does. (We're working to get natural bloom into the environment so we don't have to post-process it, but in the meantime, I love to creatively visualize what the future might be like.)
I'm enjoying using Filter Forge to create http://torley.com/textures |

2StevieJ: thanks, i would be pleasant if this is useful
![]() 2Kraellin: yes, the bloom has a bit of 'masking', it is controlled by 3 components: Color Exponent - exponentially multiply of colors. Gray, dark colors becomes darker, colors with high saturation and brightess becomes brighten Color Scale - this scales down entire bloom brightness (before color substract get done) Color Substract - this cuts off dark pixels layer Bloom layer are blended with basepic with 'Screen' or 'Linear Burn' mode, so black pixels get cutted out |
