stevie, that last one gave me an idea i'll pass along to you for doing. we could use a 'tips' filter, one that is more subtle on the color and just does the tips of things. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

uuhhmm, no; that's not quite what i had in mind, though that might work too. i was thinking about along the lines of color tips on the ends or edges of things. you could do it both as color tipping on color or color tipping on black and white. like in your flower picture there, just the tips or ends of the flowers would have color. i mean, you've almost got it now with that last pic. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

well, if you look at the image just above the original, that is almost a 'tip's image, where just the ends or tips of the flowers have color and the rest is black and white. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
