ok, same question here as on the rectilinear one; could it be used as both a texture and image filter type?

No, but easily made..... Do you think a plain texture of this would be useful.....such as a clear layer of it???

yes, i do. though, a clear layer of just the glass might be tricky, since i'm not sure what you'd be refracting to get the effect.

Well, you would have the glass edges (black on white in noise component) then maybe a color picker for the background. I guess you could create a faint noise bacground as well.....

cause i was talking more about like this, where all that black is actually transparent and only the colored glass shows:

I think you have a completely different "Glass Menagerie Color Outline" filter with that last pick.....pretty unique.....also ws thinking that you could plug in my "NeonFluorescence" filter for some further color highlighted edge effects in that one too.....

thanks, steve smile:)

yes, i think i showed you the colored glass only one before, in another thread....somewhere. it's been sitting there unfinished ever since. i feel i'm still missing something with 'glass' and not even quite sure what it is.... just, 'something'.

as for mixing, i've got so many things in the works that most of the mixing is in my head, aka, all mixed up smile:)

It sounds like they just need a little dose of "StevieJ" smile;) smile:D LOL.... Seriously, as you know, it's a balancing act between high pass and refraction.....easy to over do it with either one.....and sometimes you can get away with not using high pass at all.....which I do every chance I get smile:)
