Before I put this one up I wanted to make sure the name for it was appropriate. Here are 2 samples of drawings I sued "Fossilized" with smile;)

THanks Persidio... glad you liked me previews too smile:D

One of these days I'll have to share what I've done with some of yours and other's filters to some of my artwork. That would be a fun forum in itself too, where we could all go and share what we came up with in using each other's filters rather than our own! smile;)

bah! you're making me try to think of that rock type and my geology learnin' was years ago. soft rock, the kind that is formed with silt build up... bah!

oh well, nice filter, foxxee. where did the gloss come from on those posted images? did you add a drop shadow/highlights to the images?
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Oh, sorry about that... didn't mean to bring back bad memories for you, Kraellin smile;)
Actually I love and was a pretty good student in Biology, but hated Chemistry smile:-p
The bevel and shiny highlight come from EyeCandy's Inner Bevel, same with Drop Shadow. Handy little filters both for a simple and quick job smile:D

Gosh... (digs toe into ground smile:blush: ) Thank you Persidio, for the kind words. Actually I'd really would like to share some of my work, so thanks for the guidance on where to go to share! Hope I don't flood you all with too many images though. Oh yeah, and please forgive me for all my silly misspellings like "glad you liked ME previews too". I really don't talk like that in real person, hehe, just rushing to get my replies back and forgot to do a read-through and spell-check smile:(

I left anti-alias off on this one because I liked the rougher look to the stone/clay.

I think most fossils have that more worn look, but I was in the mood for rougher on that one.

I will be back later. Have a lot to do here in the house. smile:D

Ghislaine wanted to make some fossils, and I have just discovered this filter that could help better for her wish
And I wonder now, what would happen if I add the the Blast Shadows (that is not LUA script based) or the Hard shadows to this filter?

Would this make it more realistic ?

Well, the only way is trying it.
