Jean, great concept!!! smile:) smile:) smile:)

I was thinking that you could take this one even further by doing different, multi-colored, and patterned balls.....

Also, If I may suggest, take a look at my "CrystalBallz" filter to get rid of the top dimple on the balls (that is if you want to get rid of it smile:) ). My filter is really just a snippet that you could either plug in or chop the curve, tile, and refraction from to get it.....

I like the festive ones.....very usable too for backgrounds, holiday cards, and all types of other things..... smile:)

I like the dimple because it gives them that Christmas glass look. However I have a slider to remove it. Look in the settings panel tab and you'll see a slider called 'Flatten'. That will remove the rim. smile:D (((One step ahead of you for the first time... LOL))))(hehehe))

Something playful and fun! This filter is super useful... it also makes smaller patterns to match the larger more embellished ones. So that you can make a matching set for web design ect,.

How I got this look was... I was making a screening type filter for photos... when the look started coming together I took it to the opaque look you see here.

It will even make paper~ smile:D

Just adjust the slider Size/Pixel on your favorite preset for smaller versions of the larger one. (((Works like a charm on this filter for all sorts of variations on your favortie one)))

A smaller one to match using the same preset and adjusting the Size/Pixel slider~ smile:D

And now you have an exact match when working on a project~

And a smaller version off the one above using the Size/pixels slider in the settings panel.

This is important to have an exact match for those in web design who create 'Triple Table Tile' pages with HTML. Very useful filter~

Oh they are!~ I don't think of your filters as snippets. And remember I love to layer filters... your glass filters are great by themselves or layered. In fact I think most of your filters are in my favorites~ Big Fan!

Eventually I'll use snippets, the reason I don't is that right now I want to push myself creatively and if I give my self an option of snippets ... then I'll be taking a shortcut and not thinking of new ways to do something. Make sense? Nothing against snippets, promise. Right now I don't make them or use them, LOL. Last time I talked about my not using snippets I was in a comment thread of Lynns and she had to save me because I almost got beat up verbally in the thread for not using them (true). So... no one hit me please. LOL smile:D

Here are three of the blue tiles together... ((images are compressed and not showing their true beauty))

It's another tile that would be good for web design or web sets~ When I have a little more time I'll have to make some example pages and screenshots.

Web Page Sample Showing Preset 15.

http://www.persidio.net/FF/holidayglass/index.html

All the tiles on the page are from one preset by moving the Size/pixel slider to a smaller setting.

My paid for web server appears to be running fine today. I put a ticket in last night to complain of their server being down, and also copy and pasted Ron's thoughts for them on what was most likely wrong. (((Go Ron!~))).

Anyway,,, no troubles at all with the server today. If it happens again now that I have a 'ticket' in on the issue, I will seek the live help they have available and let them know what is going on. (((Best to have a ticket before doing that and I have one now as of last night))).

Thank you for viewing~ smile:)

If you missed the web sample for Chrome Art because of the web server I use, please do go back and visit today. Appears to be working just fine now.

Hey, it loaded perfect.....looks awesome!!!

(((Thank you Steve))) smile:) The other one should load fine too now. One of the reasons I buy web space is to avoid the type of thing that happened last night. If I were using a free server I could understand... almost expect it. Glad the server is back up and functioning... and this if it happens again, I have ticket filed for them to look at the issue already.

I'm so sorry the other sample did not load well last night.

When I first got here I learned some things from you.. how to show and post Gallery previews... also one thing you taught me was to give attention to the filters I've already made... via updates... samples when I can ect. You taught me that by example because I've watched how to tended and take care of your filters. Not sure I've ever said this,,, so thought I should. Anyway,,, thanks for being such a great example to follow and a mentor,, yourself as well as Kraellin.

Okay... back into HTML... BBL smile:)
