Thanx, I actually have tons of filters like these for use in my own work.....but I've been too lazy to polish them up for submission.....and doesn't help that I'm anal about crossing T's and dotting I's.....which makes it time consuming even on such simple filters as this

LOL.. oh now I understand~ You had 5 of them on the recent filter list this morning, same thing different colors. I was scratching my head ... now I understand. Well I luvs them, and one can't have enough soft filters~ Downloaded the whole set. It's a special collector series~
I did open the filters and they were very basic,,, just a few components. Do you have any plans to add more variety? Have you tried Ron's High Pass and Demonstration filter to mix in with one of your soft blurs? Thinking out loud... trying to help.
Luv the soft filters and I am collecting the whole series~
P.S. Time consuming~ yep~ was up till 5am last night... |

Actually all very different......just can't tell at first glance from the presets  The "soft" ones are the straight softlens effects....."threshold" only softens starting from dark tone ares leaving highlights uneffected.....and "grain" adds, well, photo grain for old photo, hazing, worn, etc. effects.....
I was hoping someone would catch how efficiently I got these effects with so few components.....in comparison to all the other similar effects that use many more components. Uber taught me to strive for efficiency.....plus I don't like effects being slower than they have to be..... Steve

On the other hand, things don't look so good for me in the "HU to Total Filter" ratio department.....  LOL.....

hehe, what, you've only got 169 HU's?
better than my ratio, i'm guessing. and even though i've gone back and re-done several filters of late, not a one of those has gone HU yet. ah well.
and dont worry about uber's world domination plot. i've got a stopper for that one. i've been secretly cloning 'the monster' algorithms into their own spawn and they shall squash uber's pathet... er, great, er, ok, no squashing. we'll just flood the market with monster clones and all will be well If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I believe that you have a better 'HU to Total Filter ratio than I.....but that could be quickly fixed by deleting about 135 filters..... LOL....

nope, none of the monster spawn or series went HU. i think they're all LU

never submitted 'the monster', so even though it is one of the filters i use the most, it would be a little hard for it to go HU. and the third cousins all died in the stink-hole.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
