I like the filter. However, the edge is currently impossible to remove, which is a drawback. Also, when I set WornEdge to zero, changing PaperEdgeWidth does nothing -- this should be corrected.

I just combined the two things I like the most.. Pencil or charooal drawings and old worn sepia tones. I've just submitted the update and feel fairly confident the problem is resolved... The beveled edge and worn edge now compliment each other and can also be used independently of each other.

This image is with just the worn edges and no bevel......

now for niether.. Only drawback I see is that without either you lose a lot of the worn look..... But then again I guess that would be the idea behind removing them both.... smile:-)

Well I've already got another update ready after this one.. I added a slider to set the darkness of the blotches.. this is with it set to 100 and no beveled edge or worn edge.... And now I'm going to leave it alone before I screw it up.... smile:-)

nice update.

for me, it was the continuous black edge that was off, not that there wouldnt be any worn, black edge. it was just too regular. if you could mix it up along the edge, i think you'd have it.

I think I just fixed that by adding noise distortion to the frame. It breaks up the symmetry of it a bit.

Old Drawing by onnetz

This is (for me) one the very best pencil drawing simulations I've seen, onnetz!!!
I love the old look, so old it almost appears as if it might crumble under my touch smile;)

Pretty! This also has a look of being buried in ice or snow... I really like the sketchy looks of this filter, onnetz smile;)
