Post your FFXML if you're so sure you've found such a better way.

BTW my version of the snippet is a bit faster than Quasi's... http://www.filterforge.com/filters/1877.html |

It's just a kaleidoscope set to the options in the attachment. Ignore the other stuff.

Let me be clear: I'm not trying to put down these at all, they're very technically impressive and I've personally learned a lot by looking at the creative use of curves/gradients to offsets. I just wanted to let people know the kaleidoscope does the same thing with a bit less effort. (I can't judge if it would be faster or not.) |

Quasimondos and Ubers both work with images...And mostly everything else you put through it..The kaleidoscope does not work the way these do...So it is not a good option for tiling in the manner that these filters were made for...
Simpler construction also.. Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

			Touche!

I didn't realize that the kaleidoscope only worked so well because the image was a perfect circle! Now I realize it ONLY works with a circle... |

			Thats cool
The circles work good with the kaleidescope because it mirrors the image and gives you a good circle..While with anything else it does not look like the source that you put through it... Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |
