I haven't tried it out yet but looks clever and effective I'll give it a spin, maybe this filter deserves some samples in the thread
I have a feeling your going to set a speed record for getting 8 HU's

A quick sample. End result is relative to original expression, naturally.

It's a different filter. I'll leave it up to your imagination which one...

ah, clever as hell. it's a bit limited, though. you might want to add some extra warps. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I'm still dreaming of making that "age progressor/regressor" filter that someone suggested, so I did this as a test of how do you tell FF what parts to adjust. Of course, an age regressor/progressor would be rather complex an affair: Head shape, wrinkles, shrinking/enlarging facial features, distorting them, skintone, hair color... it could become unmanageable in no time. And I've done a few overcomplex (and thus overslow) filters I just don't even dare submit. Like my "Avatar" filter, which creates faces. And, oh man, is it slow! (I might just give up on optimizing it and stick it in the gallery for kicks.)

Sounds cool, you can make some pretty fancy things when you don't care about render times

So I just tried this filter for the first time, without reading instructions or looking at forum, ofcourse (Because that's how real FFers do it ), and I have to say, BRILLIANT!!!
Edit:
Thought I'd use your technique to make manga face maker filter (makes your chin really narrow and your eyes really big), so I peeped in the editor and said "Or not..."
So how about you do it?
