Hey, thanks, guys! I've been out for a long time (as in physically gone in April and May) and have fallen far behind on my FF ideas. But Crapadilla's "Spelunker's Scribble" looked so cool that I had to do SOMETHING with it. smile:D

I saw the wood-cuttiness of some of the results, too, Carl. I've been considering creating a wood-cut filter per se, but haven't gotten there yet. And now that my (very seasonal) work has started again -- and I've gotten back into knitting -- I'm not sure when I will get there! Gods, I'm such a dilettante... smile;)

I'm thinking, though, that I could do something...I dunno...more with this. Any suggestions? smile:?:

Here's an example with my default test image (copyright BBC and all that). Click through for details! smile:D :

well, being that i like this filter so much, i had to make a mod of it (dont ask me why; it's a compulsive thing smile;) ). now, i wont post that mod here for a while since that would just take some small part away from the original here. but, i will post a sample. if you're interested, kitty (since you asked what else could be done smile;) ), i'll send you a copy of the filter via email smile:)

Kraellin, the Mad Modder. smile:D

Wrinkled paper? It's hard to tell, at this size, what else you might have done. And yes, I'd love to see a copy. Do I need to give you my e-mail or can you send it to me through the FF site?

And I appreciate you not posting the mod right away -- I'm collecting HUs, you know. smile;)

ok, i sent you an email using the FF emailer. you access that by going to anyone's filter and simply looking down the right hand side and you'll see a 'send email' link. click on that and it will call up an email page to send something to that person. it doesnt show you their address, only their name, so, you'll have to send me a reply to the email i just sent and then i'll have your address and can send you the filter as an attachment. the auto-emailer thing here in FF doesnt give anywhere to add an attachment, so, we'll have to correspond once to get each other's addresses smile:)
