Thanks guys, but I feel a little ashamed that the plaid texture you are seeing here looks much rougher and heavier than it does when I generate them on my computer. This seems to have the appearance of being quite knubby where it really generates as being much smoother in FF itself.

I wonder why that is, because I have noticed some of my filters in the past look much different when they are viewed here after I've uploaded them smile:?:

It's because FF automatically tiles all presets when filters are submitted to the libray.....to help promote FF's "all tilable" mantra. I think that they should do away with this automated function because not all filters are, or meant to be, tilable.....and there is already a function to see each preset in a tiled grid pattern.....JMHO..... smile;) smile:D

i tend to agree, steve, especially on the effect filters. leave it up to the author or the end user.

Ahh, thanks for that bit of info, Steve. I didn't know this... that or I have forgotten smile:?:

Hmmm, now that explains why some of my filters, such as my carved wood frames show up here as having no carving at all, or my lave planet not having any hot lava coming up through the surface... smile:cry:

Yep, I think I agree with you too, Craig (who agrees with Steve)... it would be a nice idea to allow us to choose the option, but of course we are only the filter makers smile:D

Yep, I think I fit in that catagory, Craig. I didn't even get a chance to correct my LAVE planet to LAVA planet smile:p

No... silly smile:)
My planets filter has a black planet in the pre-sets, but it showed up here without showing the cracks and the bright yellow liquid lava (or fire?)that showed through.
