Looking good, Constantin! The height part looks more convincing in your modified examples.
I've taken a look at the original filter and I'd say the whole height tree needs changing/simplification! If it always ends up being blurred with a radius of 10 at the end, why go through all the computations before that blur? One could just replace the blur with a properly adjusted perlin noise. --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |
