yes, if you mean water, snow, ice, waterfalls, streams, etc., etc.
![]() i went back to rework the original waterfalls. when i got there i realized it would be MUCH easier to work with if i just concentrated on one part. so, i took just the falls and nothing else out of the original and began re-working it. as i went along, i realized that this would work as a separate filter. so, here it is. i've also put it back into the original waterfalls and that now looks better also. the hardest part in doing this filter was deleting presets. with all the testing i did i just kept adding presets till it was just way too many ![]() the scope of this filter was meant to really only be for the waterfalls, but there are so many similar water type and even other fluid type effects, that i didnt even have to try to expand the scope on this. it's simply just there as a byproduct. there are also a surprising number of controls, even to me. i originally figured this would only need a dozen or so, but every time i tested i just kept coming up with scenarios where another control was needed. i could trim it, but dont really want to at this point. but, if there are a lot of requests, why, i might. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

LOL..... I see that.... ![]() This one is a prime example for FF needing control locks in randomization..... ![]() Steve

yeah, controls locks would be sweet.
i shld also mention that this isnt a typical 7-10 control filter where you can just hit the randomize and you get another perfect rendition. this one takes a bit of study. i purposely did not do a lot of re-mapping to 'tighten' things up. i wanted to leave it as a broad spectrum, a broad range of effects. filters like this need this because some controls affect other controls so much. had i tightened it down real hard, a LOT would be lost. here's the chillat river pic that donna posted a long while back using this filter: original first ![]() If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

interesting idea, steve. and, if i did a mix of the horizontal and vertical and made a crosshatch, that shld work for canvas also. good idea!
