Nice work!!!
I would suggest adding a spiral/twist feature to this (Spiral Vortex Tiling).....or do it in another filter.....both will certainly get used..... 
The only other thing I can think of is adding fractal patterning to this.....which hopefully FF will add to the program is some future release.....  Steve

i have almost no use (that i can currently think of) for such a beast, but it's certainly fascinating
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

A spiral won't be too difficult. I think it should be a logarithmic spiral (as the rings already are). Do we have any of those in the library already?
And of course, I'll add some surface filter examples: Snowdreamby me  |

Oh, and I added a spiral function using the same bias curve that makes the rings progressively smaller towards the middle. The update should come tomorrow.
