Here are some examples I've been playing with.
First we have the original input image. Nothing special here.

Colors can be adjusted later smile;) But I'll be trying my best to actually make the colors match up a little. It's a tough job to get it to look naturally there.

interesting idea and fairly convincing. the totally green trashcans are a bit much, but otherwise, the spartan use and placement is quite convincing.

You use good example pics for this filter. Everything's already a little dirty and rusty. That would be sick if you could add dirt, moss, and rust in one filter, but that might be too much. This by itself is definitely cool, though. smile:D

You can control amounts and the color. And yes, you can always mask out areas where you don't want the filter to affect smile;)

That was actually bound to happen smile;) I was also going to add snow, since snow (kinda) sticks to objects, and it might be cool to get a frosted look. It's not too much since all of this can be done using the same principle, only different colors via a switch. I say it rather be done in 1 filter.

The filter will be the same minimalist interface. It won't be adding so much more smile;)
