that's very good, constantin. very clean, lots of variety and an area i dont think anyone else has touched upon. nice  If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

The filter can be expanded with other types of knurling, I think about it.

Very true, it embodies a look that I associated with science and quality as a kid. This one is Japanese but companies like LOMO and Ziess had a very similar appearance – now it's all jellybean shaped nylon. Come to think of it, we need one of those textures of that ubiquitous black surface used by Spencer and others.

if you're talking about that rough, black, sort of bumpy texture, then yes, i agree  If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
