i like the idea of this. some more variety in the painting pattern would be nice.

Thank you for your input. I have updated the filter with the ability to change the color and it's size.
I hope the update gets accepted, it has taken me more time than expected because the filter always ended looking too different after getting the desired result. ![]() Greetings |

I've been playing around with modifications of this filter and I though I would share an WIP image here because I think it looks good, but maybe it's too different to call it an update.
The more I learn about Filter Forge the more I Love it. Never before I tried to generate textures in other programs like Carara because I though it was tedious, but with FF it's fun ![]() Props to the programmers ![]() ![]() |

that's sort of an interesting effect. doesnt make a lot of logical real-world sense, but still interesting. also, that grey/white brick could easily stand alone as a filter without the other stuff with it.

Around here some people do decorations like that, maybe not with orange bricks so badly placed, but similar.
Sometimes they do it because they have a visible column and want to make something good from it, so they cover it with decorative bricks, other times it's just the decorative brick glued directly to the wall. That's the reason I added an independent brick pattern for the grey brick, so you could cover the orange brick with cement and paint it, change it style or something, the posibilities are endless ![]() |

I could see some sort of "crumbling" effect used on this to give the apearance the wall was plastered and is now deteriating.
