One of those filters where you can say "wow - look at those patterns" without being tripping in the sixties smile;-)

The colors and texture remind me of some wrapping paper I used to have. I think this filter could be the basis of a nice striped paper filter.

Roses are #FF0000
Violets are #0000FF

I think what happens often is somebody who owns filterforge creates an image using whatever filter exists --> Somebody else uses that image and credits whoever used FilterForge to produce that.

Otherwise somebody can create something in FilterForge ---> sell stock imagery on websites like graphic river ---> get image credit for sales.

So then you get into the itchy "who is the author" sort of deal, and to some extent such things are claimed under agreements of the software but at the same time, it's still an "itchy situation" for some of us who put more than enough time making 1 filter.

LOL Patrick Hoesly strikes again, he claims that he created all this artwork from the default presets of our filters, there was a big thread about him a while ago, which resulted in authors not submitting filters to the library. I thought he'd been forced to change his pathetic ways, he is incapable of creating anything himself so steals credit for other peoples creation, it was laughable to read the praise he recieved for his brillant work. As far as FF was concerned he pressed the render button so he created it, which was the low point of FF supporting authors. Do a search for him, if you'ved done any texture filter you'll problably find how he cleverly created them images. Pathetic smile:evil:

Wow he even has them in his Portfolio as his own work. How lame is that? smile:evil:
But I don´t see any newer filters among his stuff, guess he doesn´t have 3.0.

Anyway, off to render out my filters presets and upload them to flickr myself. Just incase. LOL

The saddest thing is that some of the all time masters of FF stopped submitting amazing filters to the library because of that scum. smile:(

Yeah that´s sad, and I can understand how frustrating this issue must have been. I´d make that guys life hell if he tried that with my filters smile:dgrin:

How exactly? At the end of the day, as much as his actions stink, it's all legal.

Take a look at http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...5&TID=7754. Interesting stuff.
