Yes it is true and agree totally with you, the idea of making the hearts this is very good and lovely, and I too adore them. I would never have thought about it myself because I do not how to do it, so it would be really very difficult that I could do them all by myself ![]() PLEASE LOOK INISDE THE FILTER FOR THE MANY INTERESTING VARIATIONS PRESETS I have seen that is has very intersting and good presets variations and even some include layers of your own images in a shape of the heart. Very well done all the shadows of the hearts. |

SpaceRay I thought I could never make filters when I fist started using FF, but with time and lots of fun hours messing with components and looking at how others made the different shapes, colors, blends, and actions, I finally got the hang of it. I am totally self taught on the computer, but I never stop trying to learn from others. You will surprise us all one day with a great filter of your own. ![]() ![]() |

Yes, thanks, is true and agree with you, before I thought I would only use FF as a user and viewer, but the decided to jump into the water and learn to swim in the FF sea of components of the filter editor, and I have not drowned ![]() It is true that it needs LOTS of hours messing and experimenting with components, reading the help user guide, the wiki, and also very important and very useful is to look HOW others have done the things they have done looking their filters inside the filter editor. I am also self taught, as all that are here I suposse, or there is an official Filter Forge school wh ere you can go to learn ? ![]() Although this is a joke here, THERE IS already many "schools" for MANY kind of software available on internet using live webinars and experts teaching you how to use some software, I have been already learning in many of them and there are LOTS of different software supported BUT regretably NOT FF ![]()
Thanks very much for trusting in me, YES, I hope so, that after much time learning and experimenting I will be able to make good filters and make some useful things for you all to use. Yes, I ask MANY things, and many people is afraid of asking, but as you say very well, this is how you learn, but before asking you have to search before if others have already given an answer to what you what you want to know. |

You are right Spaceray. Go ahead and jump into the water. Not so far in the future, you will cross the pool twice, etc. And we are a lot of users waiting for you on the other side of the pool.
![]() Ok, I have created a striped wallpaper a bit different then the others. It is a bit more complex but I will submit this filter today (I was supposed to keep it for myself) because you are learning making stripes wallpapers. I will open a post and put on few striped wallpapers. ![]() visit https://gisoft.ca |

SpaceRay, trust in yourself as we trust in you.
![]() Once you will submit a filter, you can get other users give you advice on how to make it better and better, like you did on my ball pit filter and the gumball machine filter, where you added the pictures. That will also push you into learning even more things, and you'll be able to make even cooler filters ![]() |
