Very well done and truly artistic, Lots of possible combinations with many images input and ways to mix them. Really wonderful. Congratulations!

The mix with the images is very well done and gives a very artistic and lovely effect

Here below is one example I have done. ALL has been done with this filter, EVEN the frame, because I used a anemona flower with white background AND made a black frame around, so the textures from the filters are shown only on places that are not white.

Thanks very much for your comment and I am glad you like them.

It´s true that many times you do NOT know how wonderful and awesome a filter can be IF you do not try it and experiment with it and use your own photos to make tests and see what happens.

As you said I have been surprised how good this filter is after having tried it myself.

AND THERE ARE LOTS OF POSSIBLE WAYS TO COMBINE and many different choices to try. smile:loveff: smile:ff:

please, Sphinx, could you explain more how this filter works?

i have read the description in your filter but I do not understand it fully

Does the 6 source images in the color controls have not the same weight and importance without smooth activated?

How they are blended together?

any additional suggestion on how to the best out of this filter?

What I mean is not a technical explanation on how it was built, and what I want is to know how it works so I can then choose more carefully and specific the images to be loaded to experiment and see some good results, and try to prepare and think before adding any image

Also how important is the main source image content for the final result? As shown above if there is some plain white, it be kept as full white and if there is some black it will dissapear and removed

Thanks for your help and must congratulate again for the idea

This filter compares six control images/colors with your main image and uses the best match as output.

The comparison is separate for each sample, which results in a rather spectacular collage.

When "Smooth" option is checked, all of the six inputs are used in a weighted manner so the best matching input is most visible, and worst match is least visible -

"Contrast Boost" slider is useful in this mode

."Slide X/Y" sliders shifts the position of all the input images before matching. This way you can tweak the final collage so specific features of the main image stand out better."Input Blur" blurs the input image before going into the matching logic - useful if the main image stands out too perfectly.

IMPORTANT: If one of the six control image inputs contain your main image, you have to use blur or slide to ensure differences (otherwise you'll see no/little change).
