As there is some questions about the speed limit that the submit wizard has inside and that do not let slow filters to enter the library, I wonder and question :
How this filter has passed through the SPEED LIMIT of submit wizard??? Ink ghosts http://filterforge.com/filters/10137.html This ONLY works well for 600 x 600 , if you try to make a higher resolution it will take HOURS to make it. ![]() Do not get me wrong, I like very much the effect this filter has, but is nearly unusable are useless because it is too slow. Perhaps any expert of Filter Forge could find a way to optimize it and make it faster |

Yep...I think I posted about this one....While it does have good results there are a lot of blur components in this one....That is one of the main causes of this filter being so slow....If I remember there was 5....

I'm not an expert in filter construction so I may be totally incorrect here. But in my amateur opinion a high-detail Noise plugged into a Noise Distortion is a poor architecture. This filter speed may be significantly improved. |

My question remains, How is possible that if the submit wizard is strict on the speed limit, how this filter have gone through and entered the library?
OK I´m a MUCH less expert than you, and also think that there is something wrong in this filter that is making it really go VERY SLOW Please anyone that wants to optimize this filter and make a GOOD construction to get the same effect but faster? UPDATE: I have just seen this in this other thread Submission wizard speed limit
Probably this filter did NOT pass the submit wizard speed limit BUT was given way inside the library personally and manually by the FF team because is a very good filter. |

Really it isn't too much of a big deal. Most users of Filter Forge can actually edit the filters they download to work better for them.
I have not uploaded 3 of my own filters because they are simply too slow. But the components in them are all necessary to achieve the end results like i want.I am sure there are others like me who have filters sitting around non submitted because they don't want to be called slow pokes. ![]() Rod
