I crated a filter (a Filter which I have been waiting for years someone to make before Filter Forge) and it turned to be funtionally okay. Problem with it was that with "Saturation Contrast"-parameter value to end user is allways 0-100. Or is it? Can it be changed to for example -50 to 50? It would be much more logical to use because negative numbers reduce saturation contrasta and positive numbers increase it. Now numer 50 does nothing and number 10 reduces saturation contrast by 40.
Is there way to change it and if not, could this feature be implemented? Here is the filter if I did not made any sense: http://www.filterforge.com/filters/2248.html ...and other thing. Why all the examples of that filter are randomized? Why can't page use also presets that I made? Now those randomized presets do not give as clear impresson of filter as those I have made. take a look at the filter forge help file and wikipedia and look up 'remapping' or 'remappers'. that shld get you what you want regarding confineing the limits of the sliders.
and if i remember correctly, you have to submit 9 presets with your filter or they get randomized... or something like that. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

This is a current limitation of the control sliders. The devs are aware of this issue, and hopefully this will be changed in the future. --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

----On the slider/checkbox/etc. control in the editor, click on the box that says "Use Remapping", then a little sub-box opens right by where your control slider/checkbox etc. connects into the module, and you can limit the range of the adjustment to anything you want, like -50 to 50, (well, some currently only go 0-100 or whatever, but some go -100 to 100), or anything else. Range limited controls = super useful. ![]()
----The first 9 presets you make are on the filter page, just make sure *Seamless Tiling* (just above the randomizer at the bottom on the settings page), is checked when you make the presets, so they look the same on the webpage there. jffe Filter Forger |

I know the remapping command and I use in that filter. I was not talking about that. I was talking about what the end user can see.
Thank you for the information and ability to read my poor english.
Thanks. I have to try that. Simple but efective |
