Uhm..how exactly does it work?

I thought if I set it to A=B and leave if and else at black and white, then it would be white if A and B match and black if not, but instead of black it goes all kind of colors?

See, I think I know te answer to it... but I'm worried I'd be wrong. I think I'll leave it up to somebody else for the answer....

In the mean time, is the ffxml file accurate to whatever you were describing? If you check the RGB values in HDR mode, you'll see the problem.

Well in your example it seems that the first white was 0,9999 rather than 1.
Is that what you think causes the trouble?

Edit: that can´t be the problem in my case because I copied the color for B and I just checked, they are the same.

Well here is my example. If anyone knows what the problem is and could explain it would be cool smile:-)

Edit 2: It actually has to be >= for what I had in mind, but same problem with that.

Well, I got it to work smile:D It was actually easier with the >= operation. Ofc it couldn´t work with the colors like that in this case, doh!!
I would still like to know what the problem with the colors and the A=B is tho??

The "IF" component works separately with the red, green, and blue "channels". The "then" and "else" colors are then multiplied into each channel (R, G, and B).

Example: If you select A>B, and your source A has more red at a point than source B, the red output here = [the red value of THEN]. If A has less or equal red at another point, the red output here = [the red value of ELSE]. Same for green, and lastly blue.
