I'm making some Surface filters with Metallic set to 100%. When I work on the Reflectivity, I sometimes get small shining dots on the final picture. In some filter they may be ok, but in others, they don't really fit.
I tried to reduce the Reflectivity, but they don't disappear completely and the Metallic effect loses much of its good look.
Has anybody had the same problem?
What do you suggest to do?

Sorry that I do not know what you mean, could you be able to put any screenshot showing what happens to see these reflections dots?

So it would be easier to help you

something you may try is to change also some of the lighting settings in the lighting tab and see if this can help, and also you can choose to use a different environment (HDRI) as this will change the reflections of the filter

Also it depends on what you are feeding into the height link of the result component

Maybe you could increase the reflection blur also.

Thanks SpaceRay and vwg.
I'll try again to change the settings and see if I can solve the problem.
