hi, I wonder if there could be able to have some way to be able to sel ect a preset from inside the filter?
i mean that If I could use a custom selected saved preset to be used as source image to be used with other components or bomber, or select a group of preset to be used randomly as source images I think that there is no way to do it as there is no tool, node or component to do this, and I think this is only user based fr om outside of the filter It would be cool and great if it could be possible to be able to specifically, or at least randomly choose saved preset of the filter you are using as feed or source of other filter components or the bomber Thinking on how I think FF works, maybe this thread really should be in the feature wishlist Thanks |

Go to your result tab and click on the giant button that says FilterControls, on your left hand side you'll see presets. You can do your preset things as usual.

Thanks for your answer, but fr om reading it I have seen that I explained it wrongly, as what I mean is from outside of FF editor, using the usual settings
What you have told is right, and I already know that and is good that it can be done inside FF editor, but this way you can only use one preset, and this could solve point 1 but not point 2 or 3 that would be more interesting and useful 1 ONE PRESET - use a custom sel ected saved preset to be used as source image to be used with other components or bomber (this can be done inside filter editor) 2 DIFFERENT PRESETS GROUP - sel ect a group of preset to be used randomly as source images alternatively inside the same image result ( can not be done in filter editor, as you can only choose one preset each time with one result) 3 - MANY CUSTOM PRESETS - use different custom sel ected presets for feeding custom components in the filter (can not because same as 2) WAYS TO LOAD SOURCE IMAGES INTO FF now you can load a source image fr om hard drive into 1 - Load image from hard drive into the image node or color control, 2 - Load image fr om Photoshop or any other plugin host as main image 3 - Use a built in image 4 - Load a saved preset fr om the filter itself as source image ( can do it already inside filter editor although you can only use just only one and would be good to use more than one) 5 - Be able to use and select many saved presets and use as feed randomly and automatically would be good that you could also be able to select a saved preset as source image as in points 4 and 5 this is why I told that this could be a feature wishlist instead POSSIBLE ALTERNATIVE I HAVE THOUGHT NOW As I think that what I am telling above is not possible to make with the actual components available I put what I have thought as a solution I have thought that as this may be difficult or impossible to do in the actual FF, the possible way would be to render all the presets I may want and save them as images and the load them as external source images, but this needs the work that you render them, I know that maybe I should use this already possible way instead of being lazy and find a way wh ere directly wh ere you do not have to render the presets Maybe if it would be used as a bomber feed, it would not needed to be higher than 600x600 and it would be faster to save than a higher one, but on other components you would most probably need a higher ressult and FF would take much time to remder each preset USE EXTERNAL TOOLS although to avoid spending much time waiting for any slow render of different filter presets, I have just remembered about the awesome and great Batch Gui tool by aba wh ere you can render automatically all the preset at a given resolution output And have just discovered that there is also a new alternative tool that can also be used as renderer that seems to be very good and interesting FFEasyRender by FFCreator Sorry that I did not think about this possible alternative solutions when I have made this thread |
