Note: I have changed the text many times already
I have been able to make many stripes based filters as you may know fr om my FF library, (that can be seen here) but I have been trying to make something that probably seems to be easy, but could not do, and is to be able to SHUFFLE all those stripes, change positions of the stripes randomly ( or whatever way) and also if possible to make the stripes with variable width Maybe is not as easy as it may seem, as nobody has done it in all these years and is curious that nobody has thought about it FILTERS AVAILABLE IN LIBRARY OR FORUM 1 - I think that the best filter that is most similar to what I think and want is Shreaded by DrEvil wh ere the source image is slice in different stripes with different sizes and then offset them slightly. but there is no way to mix, shuffle or jumble the stripes 2 - Threedee made a very good shred filter called TOP SECRET by ThreeDee you can make the stripes in variable size but with the same size. although also is not customizable in the way of mixing the shredded stripes, although you can make the stripes with variable size but all the same. Although I think that for this is better to keep the shredded stripes totally straight and do not bend or move them as it happen in top secret filter, the problem is that with top secret and Looseness zero the effect can not be seen. 3 - Kochubey made this filter that breaks the source image into squares and jumble them and would be similar but with thin stripes instead of cubes POSSIBLE OPTIONS THAT I HAVE THOUGHT Is not needed at all that the filter fullfills all the 3 options shown below, it can be just only option 1 alone, or it can be separated filters, as is not needed to have all the options in the same filter OPTION 1 1.1 - Shred the image loaded in the same way as it happens in the top secret filter 1.2 - Be able to shuffle and change position of the shredded stripes randomly or whatever way OPTION 2 2.1 -Shred the image with variable sizes stripes, so they are not exactly the same width as it happens on the top secret filter, and so there are some stripes that bigger than others and some smaller OPTION 3 - 3 images joined another alternative filter is to be able to shred 3 source image and mix them 3.1 - shred the image as in point 1.1 or point 2.1 3.2 - mix the shredded stripes of the 3 source images together in one image I have tried myself using the Tiles jumble option but is bad as it cuts them in the middle and there is no option to customize the number of stripes, I have put a screenshot below showing it Will put later some more examples to show it what I mean Thanks of any help BELOW IS USING WRONGLY THE TILES COMPONENT JUMBLE This gives only a rough idea ![]() |
