			Hi,

Using version 4... would like to do some tutorials that cover the basics of creating "basic" standard materials to be used in architectural visualization such as wood floors and tiles... I couldn't find much. Further, I need various render maps such as normal, bump, etc... .there are a lot of great filters available, but often, they don't have these associated maps; is there a way to edit an existing filter to add these other maps? thanks |

			Thanks -

I looked before posting. Do you know which tutorials (if any) specifically address the items I'm looking for? I may have missed them, but not sure it's in the title(s). |

Did you have a look at this one? It is very straightforward, and a good way to create your first texture filter. I know it is about rocks and not wood floors - but there is little difference between rocks, pavements and tiles once you get the general idea.
