This looks interesting and useful as you say for nodes of opacity for bomber and for other possible components that have green nodes

Here is example, gradient applied to base-shape radius, and at output create all posible sizes of ship, with count, controlled by "Size, pixels" and input-image resolution  Randomize everithing! |
