I was wondering....... If the V Chaos is 0, why do the sticks don't begin from the center?
Here is the file. test rot.ffxml |

Ok, confused me for a moment. First, set Density = 1. Then, after some thought, I realized that the gradient going into the rotation is a "global" map, not per particle. So each "line" is rotated according to the global map at the center of each row (4 in this case) within the rotation map. Then increasing density then creates additional line offset by the internal algorithm. Does this make sense?
UPDATE: An additional problem is the 0..1 space for the bomber particle. When rotating it, there is no way to get the sticks through the center. I would use Loop to do this like so... (FF7 and above) test line rotation.ffxml Math meets art meets psychedelia. |

if you need to not cross center you can use Center X / Y and some math to get least distance to center, to hide

I agree that these are interesting results and useful to know how this can be done
Thanks mitaywalle for sharing this and for the way it is done |
