Somebody out there needs to pull out the border creation routine from Mess Painter and build a frame filter for post-effects use.
Not that I don't love Mess Painter...but I'd love to experiment with that border treatment with a dozen other creative & photographic filters. I'd try doing it myself, but I have a severe birth defect: I'm right-brained. ![]() |

I created a similar edge effect, I used the same concept as Mess Painter, it's a refracted frame using Perlin Noise. For Filter Forge 7 and above. This puts a frame around the input image. If you want a blank frame, open a new transparent image.
