Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and also a relatively unexperienced in creating FF filters. What I'm after is a stippling filter that creates an effect like this:

The essence is that all dots have (approximately) the same shape, color and size but their relative distance varies. To my knowledge the example is Voronoi stippling, but I wouldn't mind a different approach with the same effect.

I've not been able to find FF filters that come close to this, but any pointers or suggestions how to build one are appreciated.

You would most likely have to write a custom lua script to get this specific effect. Check out weighted voronoi diagrams. Somewhat similar results could be achieved with halftone / dithering techniques.
