Hello Everyone,
Just thought I'd jump right in and try to create an animated filter...

Basically using the "Normalized Time" Control and two "Map Script"s I just dialed in a hue change and rotation speed (both can be reversed). Just a simple start for a novice like me.
This is what it looks like...

Why aren't these image tags working correctly?

I could be wrong but... I believe BB style image tags require a direct link to an image, whereas Dropbox is supplying a sort of landing page with the image on it.

whoskryo is correct. The forum software doesn't follow redirects. You need to right-click an image and sel ect 'copy image address' fr om the right-click menu.

Thanks whoskyro for your comment.
The link is a direct link to the image and other forums have no difficulty in displaying them. In fact if you copy the link and put that in the address bar you will see the actual image itself. There is no landing page, no forward link - it’s direct. It’s just that Dropbox is hosting the image as I could see no way to upload and embed it. This is my first post and maybe there are restrictions on BB Code usage?

I did right-click the image on Dropbox and choose create link - that's what I posted here using the Image button above.
Do you mean to upload a file and past its full web address into the image box (that wasn't working for me and still isn't) ?

For this to work correctly the last part and ending must be ONLY the extension of the file, so the forum software can recognizer it
Welcome to the forum and you have made some interesting and good animations, well done, and keep creating and experimenting more

Thanks SpaceRay for the heads up on how the forum [IMG] tag works - brilliant!
Unfortunately Dropbox needs the extra bit at the end to know what to do with the file. So I can't use Dropbox on this site unless they implement it.
So, for the moment, I'm having to upload the files individually and just see them at the bottom of the post.
Of course once uploaded they have a 'src' that is recognised.
But the size is not always accurate. Giving them an arbitrary size of 300 ??? each makes these stars look awful - they should be much smaller circa 128 as seen above.
