I'm trying to convert this filter over to simple type for a "cleaner" effect.....
I've been racking my brain over this one.....so I was wondering if anyone knew how (if possible) to convert this filter and retain the fat 3D chrome metallics??? Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated

Are you trying to convert so you can use it in the Image result rather than the Surface result....If so the metallic might be kinda challanging to do. Might be better the way it is..I did look at it and there is not a lot in this filter as opposed to the way that I was thinking....Then there would be a whole lot more to this filter..Just to get the height and the light....But if you are keeping it in Surface result then nevermind and pretend you did not read any of this... Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

Yes, using the image result.....and yes, very challenging The "dirty" effects from lighting reflections are driving me crazy.....and don't blame Vold for refusing to use it.....
Yeah, tried all kinds of elaborate schemes, but can't seem to get it. I was really hoping that I was overlooking something simple
Well, at least I know you care LOL.....
There wouldn't happen to be a filter out there that does something like this??? PS..... Cool Avatar!!! Steve

hi steve,
from what i can see, multiple curves, curve ops, blends and refraction, but i couldnt tell you the mix without a LOT of work. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
