i tried to submit another filter tonight and got the message that there were too many filters in the queue. apparently, this is just for me, as i submitted two last night that havent been reviewed yet.

Yeah, I'm having this problem as well. At this point I think I've lost track of which of my filters are pending approval or haven't even been submitted because of the full queue. smile:(

Here is a suggestion that would help with that:

On the side of ours textures list, would exist a circle led with the color meanings:

White: Not send yet.
Red: Rejected
Yellow: Waiting for approval (queue)
Green: Approved

I have cut down my submits for the moment until hopefully it becomes manageable. So i guess now I will wait. I would think that as word spreads more the more people submit the bigger job it is just to look at those.

I'm wondering when I get the message Too Many Filters in the Queue is It because each member/user has his own queue waiting for approvals and It is full at this moment or when we get this messsage means that the queue is full for everybody?

It seems that it may be full for everyone but not really sure. Since that seems to be a running topic. I tried again this morning but mine is still full. But I am making folders on my end of what I have already sent and what is done but waiting to be sent.

That is why I've suggested the My Filters TREE with an Updated Image. We would create folders as "To send", "Sent", "Preparing", "Rejected" and so on.

Talking about folders, does anybody know if it's possible to set the "My Filters" Path?

I'm still wondering "Too Many Filters in the Queue". smile;)

I'm in the same boat as everyone else. One updated filter waiting to be approved and two I can't submit because the queue is full. smile:(

Same here.

My last submission was sent at least 6 days ago and hasn't been reviewed yet. The fun thing is, its the only submission in my "queue". Still, I keep getting 'Too many filters in the queue'.

It appears the gates have been closed for now, until the new submission system is in place. smile:(

Good news -- today we're beginning the shift to community-based approval of submitted filters. The submission limit that caused the message "Too many filters in the queue" has been removed, and all submissions will be visible for everyone. The system is far from final, but I believe it will work better than the old closed-gate system.

If it is of any help to you, you can delete the filter I submitted a while back called 'Yipes Stripes'. I have already updated it and changed the name but could not re-submit it.

If this does help, maybe the same thing has happened to other testers' filters and you could lighten the load somewhat.
