I was just wondering has anyone tried to make Gem Stones And Crystals yet in FF? I have made some that look like a crystal cave wall so far but no luck with making diamonds and gems that you would find on a ring ect.

Hi James, you can use the search input field on the filters tab to try to find whatever you want. Try it out.
Cheers. |

Things like these would be a lot easier to make in a 3D modeling software (Silo or Blender come to mind -- they're free). |

I agree, but personally I like Blender more than the Silo. James: I did just submit a 3d shapes method for playing with objects. Its not really practacal but it shows one method. It gives you a Ball using the frame component then you shape this with the color gradient component. I made a glass with this method so it might be possible to make a gem or diamond with some tweaking. ![]() Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |
