A user wants to use 'Stretch by Corners' filter on non-square images. So I made a special filter that allows the filter to be compressed on either the h or v. Then saved. And another filter that would load the output of the first filter as the image in Photoshop and the user's image as the selection – then the filter should behave as normal. Here is the output of the first pass along with the filter doing the compression.

Just to be clear. I have the grayscale image loaded in PS as my image. I have the travel image copied to the selection buffer and open FF. Once inside FF I am getting confused about how to make it work.
Thanks for taking a look, Ron @ronviers |

Btw, just ignore the wonky border on the first filter - if I can get this working I will figure out a way to correct that.

Yes and no. I found out I have to do this in stand-alone mode and load the selection via the menus. But now I seem to have another problem. When I load the selection it does not have any color. I'm tired so I am probably just doing something silly. Here is a cap of what I mean. Can you think of why there it is not in color? ![]() @ronviers |

I jsut realized why it looks so bad. It's because I saved it as a low quality jpg. I forget how great the ff math it. I will try with the highest res. I do not have a good feeling about how this is going. @ronviers |

I do not think my approach is going to work. Here is what it looks like with a better quality image and it is still bad. Maybe one of the big brains will have an answer. I still do not know why the selection is not in color. ![]() ![]() @ronviers |

Selection isn't in colour, since "Selection" should be named "Selection mask" (think of Quick Mask in Photoshop, but gray instead of red one).
