I'm wondering, if an author decided to rename one of his own library filters, what would be the procedure? Could he just save it under a different name and submit it as an update to the old version?

Maybe this is intentional, but I just noticed that when you change a filter's name via the update submission, the discussion thread's title doesn't get updated to the new filter name. Maybe this should be implemented?

Yes, we know about it. We are just leaving it that way for now because it's not so very easy to edit forum topics, though technically it's possible, of course. We'll probably implement it some time later.
