Anyone happen to know whether FF keeps the original input number or does it round it to two digits? When you input something numerically, the displayed number is rounded, but I can't tell whether this means the internal number itself is rounded or just what is displayed is.

uhm, i dont think that's right. i seem to recall being able to enter floating point, but let's be clear on this, are you talking about entering it directly into a component's values, or are you talking about in controls?
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I just did a test and it seems that the Blur component keeps its precision down to 0.0000001 (even though the controller display is just 0.00) -- if that helps...

Yes, directly into component values.
Okay, thanks ssamm, I thought it probably would. I was just trying to find out about a small inaccuracy in a filter of mine and was wondering if it was from rounding or not. Turned out it was just a peripheral error, user not properly connected... TD |
