I am testing and considering purchasing Filter Forge. I do a lot of texture work for architectural visualizations. I often get tile patterns of of manufacturer site and need to create a tile texture with mortar, etc. The problem is, when I place an image and tie it to a tile node, the node does not repeat the tile image, it breaks the tile image into pieces. How do I make it repeat the pattern (image) without loss of resolution?

			Thanks, Jordan |

Hello Jordan....Were you connecting the "Image" component to the "Tile" component?

What happens is the tile component only uses the image as is..Is does not tile it as the filter that KGtheway2B has posted... http://www.filterforge.com/more/help/...Tiles.html Are you trying to make a downloaded image seamless? If so check these out and see if they help at all...Remember the original image has to be square to start with.. http://www.filterforge.com/filters/se...tiling&h=r Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |
