Okay, so I have been working on a river filter that I am going to use in a tile laying board game of sorts, but I have run into a technical problem that I can solve on my own. The problem is this, I want the filter to remain the same width at the top and the bottom of the filter always, that way, the tiles in the game can be randomly made with FF but will connect with each other more or less seamlessly. Any ideas of how to accomplish this? Here is a pic. of the river thus far.

I guess he used a Noise Distortion where distortion was a bitmap with no distortion at the edges, and more at the actual river (I've done so a few times).
