Hi everyone,
I was wondering if there was an online video course on FilterForge. I am currently using version 1. Thanks |

There are several tutorials around as well as some videos...One of the best ways to learn is to take a filter and mess about inside and see how it is created....

I ... was planning to make some, I got messed over by time. But if people are willing I would make some that will take you on the filterforge journey.
Actually might I just ask: who wants a basic to advanced video tutorial set? |

I did a basic (creating a filter from scratch) video for a mag article some time ago....It was for version1 and covered the basics in the main window as well as the editor....ie adding component, connecting components etc...........
Not really in-depth as far as what all the components are or do...Just stuck with what was needed for the filter built.... I will upload the video and post the link if anyone is interested....... The filter that I did step by step was this one... http://www.filterforge.com/filters/5040.html There was not a lot to it and it was easy to follow along....The vid is a little more then 30 minutes long...... Nevermind ahh..heres the link to the video.. You can also click the download button to save to your computer and view at your convenience.. http://stagevu.com/video/fojvznucmxem Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

If there are requests on what to do.... Chapters in thought 1. Getting about through the interface. <---- Lets get this 2. Understanding nodes and construct a simple wood texture. <---- This 3. Adding additional detail. <---- And this started 4. Techniques to simplify. Cleaning filters up. 5. Things to avoid. Things to do. 6. The deepest end of FilterForge???? |
