So I thought I'd do another write up on how to do stuff in Filter Forge. Here's a bit of a shameless self-blog-promo at the same time a bit of "tutorial" for hooking up a simple wood texture generator (which can honestly become everything else.) Otherwise, I don't know where to post stuff like this so I'll just put it here.

http://skybase.wordpress.com/2012/01/...ter-forge/ Hopefully it'll help people create their own filters and otherwise. Of course, "wood" texture is pretty popular and well... there's already a ton of wood filters here which are available. Last thing: if you have suggestions on making this better, I guess this is the place to discuss it. And I guess the other thing is if there are requests for "how tos" I guess they can become blog posts as well. |
