Hi Everyone,
I just started trying to create new filters; I say trying because I haven't succeeded yet. They're too much like the factory filters. I can't tell you how many times I have clicked on the 'Help' button. What's that definition of insanity? "You keep doing the same thing, hoping to get a different result." LOL
Haven't found any bugs yet, though, which is good I guess.
Anyone have any tips for a beginner?

Donna, welcome to Filter Forge forums! To learn, you can open filters made by other people and see what's inside them and how they work. To open a filter in the Editor, click "the Filter Editor..." button and choose "Edit this filter".

Try to create your own versions of these filters, or make your own ones -- you might start from really simple filters (for example Distortions). Don't be afraid to experiment!
