Back in the day there was Code Warrior IDE that made both mac and win apps easily compilable. Anything like this to help with a windows 8.1 version? Really digging the chaining concept!
Oh yes, definitely! ![]() _____________________________________________________

Filter chain saving works btw.
And I do not have written this for any cross platform usage, written i swift 3.0 directly towards Cocoa APIs. But anyone who works on the Windows version can use the ideas and the map_type list that I put here. - I never expected the Spanish inquisition |

Hi Skybase!
You can find all communications from the FFCmdRenderer and FFBatchMaster in console.log, if you can run and post the whole stuff here. I've seen that sometimes if FFCmdRenderer gets an error it just says something. Also, I only tested with 6.0 FFCmdRenderer, I can test with 7 on Monday and see if there is any differences. You can also check the "write Too-output to logifle", which will put it in a file in the output directory l - I never expected the Spanish inquisition |

Are you still supporting this? FF7 using OSX 10.14.5 has multiple issues, can't get it to work, it renders, but does not take a sweep value from one of my filters. I'm using 2.0b1.

I would love to know when any new progress happens on this great resource. As primarily an animator, I know this will be a great tool. Hope you can find the time and happy to donate.
Can someone tell me how to access filters for the batch run? I have the directory specified in the Location of Filter Library (FF Librarian 8/Library/Library) but no Presets appear in the Filter Settings list. Thanks for the help. |

Hi,
Filters are located in ~/Library/Application Support/Filter Forge <version>/System/Library for downloaded filters and ~/Library/Application Support/Filter Forge <version>/My Filters for your own filters Hopefully I can get some time during the summer to fix this. - I never expected the Spanish inquisition |

Hmm, I don't have a Filter Forge directory in my Application Support folder. I found all of my ffxml files in the FF Librarian 8/Library/Library folder, since I have the librarian installed. When I point FFBatchMaster to that folder, no presets appear in the Preset selection box.
Any other thoughts? Would love to be able to try this out. |

OK, started to move from Swift 3 to Swift 4.2 and reorganize some of the filter chain code (which seems to be the issue)

Finally got around to testing out FFBatchMaster 2.0b2
I just saw a video which fired me up to use it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVqAEJQML6g However the main issue for me, I can't seem to get it to sweep render. It seems to be rendering randomly, even after selecting sweep. Any idea why this might be happening? Should I try an older version of Batchmaster? I'm on OSX Mojave 10.14.5, running FF8. This would be so awesome if it worked. |

@thereisone: Yes - the issue is in the new one and the fact that the code was autoported from Objective-C to Swift. I have found a few strange things that surfaced in Swift 4.2.

Much respect Totte. Thank you for really doing something like this. The tool's really been useful in many respects and it really fills the gap for FilterForge's lack of this sort of feature.
It's really made making bits of animation more fun. If you get 2.0 more awesome, smoother running, I'd do a tutorial just on that. Once again, super thank you for your time! |

I have some first run setup issues I need to handle, and load/save of filter chains as I have rewritten filters and controls from being xml chunks as dictionaries to be objects.
But anyone wanna test 2.0 to help me find stuff that doesn't work except what is mentioned above, feel free: FFBM 2.0b3 To get around first run issues, click around in the file type tab and set the compression slider on JPEG and it will be ok. Oh sweet! Thank you for the upd ate. Here are a few things I noticed that I thought I'd just report:
- The JPEG slider when se t to supposedly 100, it seems to output 0 quality JPEG images. (setting it to 99 quality seems to give the best). - 2.0b4 links to beta 3? |

Just set up FFBM 2.0b4 on High Sierra with all the correct paths, then clicked Batch and the program crashed - no error log generated that I can see. My input image file was 50 MB - might that have been the problem? Will try again with a smaller file...

Best guess, did you setup the output format and did config the assigned filter(s). Crashlog can be found in the console.app. Still tons of "gui handling" code to fix like if that is not set or this is not set...

Thanks totte, sadly I'm having no luck with any of those V2's you've uploaded recently. It either doesn't run the batch at all (batch files created in directory but doesn't run), or if I click "Activate Render Maps" leaving only default map selected it runs but still doesn't sweep and just keeps rendering the first frame.
V1 is working reasonably well for me for what I need, and I am finding this tool very useful so I just made a donation for your work on this. Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help! |

I can't get FFBM 2.0b5 to run. I have a filter in My Filters (Rotate Madness 3) that I tried in FF7, then FF8. Here are 2 logs for FF8. Note that one of the int sliders does have a range 1-7 in the FF8 filter I've attached. The only thing I tried to do was sweep Amount 0.0-0.1 in Preset 15 of Rotate Madness 3.
