Oh yes!! You are right, these are very beautiful and lovely, like them much, and would be very good if these could be possible, I know there are already some filters with organical cells look, but as far as I know and remember none of them looks the cell divisions as cool as this one

What I do not like much from his image is the color and gradient and from my personal taste it would be better black and white, or maybe use instead the the source color from an image

Oh yes!! This is really beautiful example and the colors in this one are very good and well done by nature

I found this grid collage and i think that it would be possible to make in FF, and I could do it but do not remember how to make the missing tiles

transform a image into different square cells with missing cells around

So you divide the original source image in tiles with variable mortar width and been able to choose the mortar color.

I will try to do it myself, but do not know if I can do it, so I leave it here

This is just a possible suggestion, you can be more creative and make it as you would like, and this can inspire maybe another kind of filter

Thanks very much for your fast answer

WOW! You have created the same effect, great ! Well done.

Thanks very much for expending some time making it, it make just only take 40 minutes for you, but for me would take much more as I would have to learn and experiment much more time (the problem for me is the missing tiles)

You could upload it to the FF Library

Sorry that did not answer before, but have many personal problems and do not have time for FF

I tried to open this filter in FF but got the message that I need a newer version of FF. But when I checked the Tools-Updates in FF, I got the message that my FF was already up-to-date (version 6.009). What am I doing wrong?

Sorry I forgot about this, and now I remembered

WOW! This is exactly what I wanted, perfect, love it, great, awesome and well done

Thanks very much for taking the time to make it.

Now if I want I can add any additional things.

As usual I admire that you have been so fast to make it and admire your FF knowledge, you show most of the time that you are a FF god, and not only for this, also for the other things you have shown on your specific thread, on the forum overall and on different pages on internet

Ddaydreams suggested at the top of this page, to make cellular and organic filter generator for FF, amd think that it would be possible in FF

Here is another possible similar idea, that would be cool to do with FF if someone knows how it could be done as shown below

The nearest I have found and know that there is some possible start point with Brain Jelly Cuisine but this does not make full screen textures

I have already tried myself to make this kind of full screen organic textures but only could make this ones shown in this filter Organic Tangled Web Distortion but is not like the one here shown below

Thanks

That reminds me of a canvas my brother painted that ended up very crocodilian because his black gesso cracked before he recoated it.

As far as I remember this has been done already although I am sorry that I can not remember the name of the filter that does this exactly, the only nearest I can remember is Jumble-tron by Tim2501, you could maybe replace the triangles with squares.

I have seen this very complex and tangled geometrical triangles that looks awesome for me and I think this could be probably done in FF

There are 5 examples in the link that are similar to the one below

Here is another posible inspiration for a filter that looks great and cool, and from seeing the 8 examples shown, I could guess that it really looks like it has been made with FF because of the way they are done and how are multiplied the number of squares and the shapes

Be aware, that I am not really suggesting to replicate it, Is not that I want to make the same art design, is just a possible source for making something similar but with other possible shapes

I could make it myself, but As I suppose that for this you would need to use the random slaves of bomber plus or the Tiles Plus component, I still have to learn how to use these both

Here is the link with 8 different examples of these well done and nice geometric designs

SSLES by Manolo Gamboa

Looking at this example here is what it makes me feel that it was done in FF because of the way the squares are multiplied and how the colors are randomly distributed as they are repeated in the same way as FF with same colors nearby and not totally random

I'm not sure if an FF filter already exists that can do this but, It would be nice to have a cloud generator that can turn an image into clouds. An example is a photo of a hand turned into clouds shaped like that hand or inverted so that a hole in the clouds or negative space is hand shaped. Since our minds already try to find recognizable things in clouds anyway. I thought that might be cool.

I think it can be done. For example shaping a particle like clouds and insert it in a bomber. But I'm not sure if it is what you mean. Do you have any example?

Heres one inverted. On somthing like this I would expect the source image to be a simple heart shape in a grey scale image.

Yes, a filter for this effect should not be too hard to do.
And you may be right that there is not a filter at the moment that can make it.

I think that an easy way to get it immediately can be doing a selection of the shape that you want to obtain and applying one of the cloud filters in the library only on that selection.

Anyway it is a good idea making a new filter too.
I may try. smile:)

Thanks to you ddaydreams. smile;)

I made a new version already.
This has a control for increasing and decreasing the granularity and the size of the clouds.
It should be better.

Hello, I have seen this artwork shown below and I was wondering if this could be possible inspiration to make in FF as it could be done using an image input for each triangle

the problem I have with this to make it myself is that I do not know how to make the triangles in variable sizes as shown here

Thanks very much

There are 10 sectors, a central polygon and a frame.

They can be positioned in different ways, using one or multiple images and colors :

These are really cool and well done, like it much, do not know if it could be possible with FF, maybe these are too complex for FF , or if possible may be slow to process , would be awesome if possible

Would be interesting to know how these textures have been done, I do not think is made on Photoshop, this must be a procedural software, or a 3D software

I have found this image that has many rotated squares of different sizes NON OVERLAPPING and that each one has different images

Surely this could be possible but what I do not know is how to make it not overlapping , maybe it can be possible using the Adaptive tiling filter using a custom shape made in FF

The easier way to do it is making 24-25 polygons with a black (or different color) border. Connect them with a color input with image option. Then adding an offset control for every polygon. The polygons border and the background should be the same.

Doing like this, the polygons could be moved how the user wants, rotated, enlarged.
It would give the chance to have also different shapes, not only squares.
