I just noticed that with FF4 my filter http://filterforge.com/filters/11290.html something seems different enough to have 'broken' the filter. Does anyone have a sense of what might need to be changed or upgraded? Are the gradients or Smudge handled very differently between 3 and 4 perhaps?

When you say that something inside FF 4.0 broke your filter, what do you mean exactly?
Is the filter NON working or you are having different results than the ones you have with FF 3.0?
I think that to be able to help and tell you what needs to be changed or upgraded, it would be helpful to know what is happening badly in the filter and what has changed and is now broken. Sorry that I personally will be not be able to help as my trial version of FF 4.0 ended yesterday, and can't upgrade because I have 4 rewards points and will be waiting to have 5 to get it. Happy New Year 2014. Best Wishes |

I gave it a shot with FF4.0; looks normal to me. My renders look like the preview on the site.
I don't think the smudge component was changed. FilterForge is also backwards compatible so any older version of a component would still be usable in newer versions of FilterForge. |

Burt are you looking at your filter in your "my filters" folder and if you are did you tweak it at one time or another? Or are you looking at the actual filter in the library? I'm asking you this because I have tweaked my filters after I upload them sometimes and of course they are not changed on the website, but are changed in my "my filters" folder if I save the change.
I just tested your filter like Skybase did and the presets are just like the website images. So your filter seems to be exactly like you uploaded it. I have FF v4 too. |

I guess maybe it is what you suggested Mardar. The issue seems to be the 'Size' setting. Smaller sizes result in weird stretching I hadn't noticed before so I'll take a look at that and upload a new version.
