Haven't done anything along this line for a while, so decided to do some wireframes and facets.

Since they both require a "quantized" curve, I made another Curve script that accomplished that prerequisite.

Here's the basic cup with a curve control.

Curve script maximum facets = 100, approaching smooth shading.

Hi CFandM,

Every once in a while I want to make something that pushes FF another step towards a mini 3D program. It would be fun to have those basic 3D shapes (spheres, cubes, cones, cylinders, etc) and basic modeling (lathe, revolve, extract, skin, etc.) filters.

And then turn them into near 3D with Smudge.

I submitted the two Curve Scripts as snippets, as they are two missing basic Curves and Curve Ops Components.
