Hi im trying to create a nice smooth normal map that follows the shape of curve from left to right. Ive used white and black 3 colour gradient like this and passed it into the height input on result:

When I render the normal map it comes out like this:

Is there a way to make it have more of a natural curve/transition to it rather than straight planes/ramp?

Input an impulse curve into the curve slot of a profile gradient. This should give you a smooth transitioning curve.
