Hi, I wonder if feeding random different amount of images (about 15 or 20) into bomber plus not mixed, ordered in different lines, is the same as it is already in the normal bomber? I mean in the way that is already done in the below filters?

In bomber plus there is only one input and there is no chance controls as in the original bomber for each of the particles input, so this is why I am asking

Here are some examples of what I want and mean found on the FF library

Alien Hieroglyphics

Color Squares with Photos

Alphabet Photos

Thanks for any help

The way you can control random input to Bomber+ is with the Map Switch. You put all the different particles as input to the switch, then use a Randomizer as input to the Selector on the switch. The output of the switch goes to the Particle input of Bomber+.

Yes! it did work as you told me and is what I wanted, I have copied the same bomber settings of the Alphabet Photos above and put them in the bomber plus using the Map switch and randomizer and it works correctly

But although it works, there is a pending thing, and is that how do you control the "chances" in bomber plus?

I mean if I want that some of the 10 images loaded in the map switch should appear more frequently than others, this was possible before very easy modifying the chance on bomber, but now there is not any chance slider because of course there is only one input, so I suppose that should be done on map switch or on randomizer, but do not see any control for this

Thanks again for your help

I'll get back to you on this one. I have actually been thinking about adding "chance" code to Bomber+.

Also note that you can go with more images (until FF crashes, there is a limit to what it can handle). By adding 2 more Map Switches and 2 more Randomizers you can have 20 images.

Oh! would this be possible in some way? it would be very good to be able to have a chance option for bomber plus, is curious that nobody else seems to notice this missing thing

Yes, thanks, Skybase already told me about this that you can nest Map switches to have more than 10 images

It seems that you already found the way to do it, good

Oh! I did not notice and thought about this, have not seen that the chances was missing from the bomber plus, and seems that nobody else did, as I have not seen any reference of this

I may understand the reason why it was removed as now there is only one input and the randomization slave is used for feeding g the images one by one without any control, so then you can not use any chances control

Wow, would this be really possible to do it by code ? How would you control it?

Hope and wish that you can find a way to do it

Thanks for trying

Here are 2 different versions of "chance" code for Bomber+. The version in this post is for particles with soft edges.

And here is the other version of chance code for Bomber+. The version in this post is for particles with hard edges. It is slightly faster than the soft edge version.

Oh! Thanks very much for making this, is a great help and useful, will see how they work and how can be used with bomber plus

I admire that you are able to do this kind of things

Thanks Space Ray! I was a programmer before I was an artist, so I have a head start.

I've attached another version of chance with Bomber+, this one only allows one particle per space, which will be handy for bombing with photographs, etc.
