Hi there

I use alot of frames from Filter Forge 9.0 after using Photoshop to finish my projects.

Could someone please guide me in the right direction how I can make my own frames from scratch and upload into Filter Forge 9.0 as I would like to share my work with others.

Thank you!

Take care,
Julie

I would say that the first step is edit some of those filters to see what makes them tick....Start off with something simple to get used to the editor......
Here is something to get you heading in a direction at least......Its a very simple yet effective filter.......Use the curve to shape the frame....Its for version 9.....

Do a right-click and then a save as or save link as......Download it to a spot where you can easily find it......Once you download it then find where you downloaded it and double click on it to open with FF9....

Hi there

Thank you for the file, I managed to download the 'Quick & Easy' file and installed it into my Filter Forge 9 that you kindly shared with me.
It went into My Custom Filters - My Filters so I could view it.

When I click on your filter I then go into 'Filter Editor' top right hand corner
Then box pops up: 'Edit this filter' I leave this checked
Then click on: 'Open Filter Editor'

I then can see how you created the black/noise frame in 2 steps:
1st Bevel
2nd Noise
Which then made the frame.

Was this in the right order or did you do the noise 1st then bevel 2nd?

How did you start off from scratch?

Did you go into 'Filter Editor' top right hand corner
Then box pops up: 'Create a new filter' I check/tick
Then click on: 'Open Filter Editor'

Then I am lost, how do you start adding either bevel or noise to start making the frame?

Sorry lots of questions but I would love to learn how to make my own frames and share with everyone.

Hope your having a nice day!
